Principal's Newsletter 4th December 2015

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Another very busy week has passed with teachers putting the finishing touches to end of term reports and students going through their examination scripts. With one week to go until the end of the term the schedule for the coming week is equally hectic.

Fun Day

Just a quick reminder that our PTA Fun Day will take place tomorrow (Saturday 5th December) from 11.00 am until 5.00 pm here on campus. Our PTA committee have worked tirelessly to prepare for the event and we look forward to a good turnout tomorrow for this exciting event.

A Christmas Celebration
On Tuesday of next week (8th December) we would like to invite all parents to an hour of Music and Dance to celebrate the coming of Christmas. Separate flyers have been sent advertising this already. We will begin in New Horizons at 5.00 pm. We would be grateful if you could indicate your presence to the Registrar’s Office to help predict catering numbers.

End of Term Arrangements

Thursday of next week (10th December) marks the last full day of school for this term. It will take the form of a non-uniform day with discos for both the Junior and Senior schools during the afternoon and evening.

On Friday of next week (11th December) the usual parent/teacher conference will take place where reports will be issued and academic performance and progress will be discussed. Such meetings are a crucial part of the educational process and we hope to see all parents and guardians there.

End of School Traffic Flow

The opening of the back gate to ease traffic flow after school has made a big difference to our afternoon dismissal. We would like to thank everyone for the positive way in which this change has been accepted.

With best wishes for a pleasant weekend,

Howard Bullock.
